When you log into your client portal, select the “transactions” tab at the top, then choose “submit cash contribution.” Complete the necessary information and click the button to go to the next page to confirm your transaction. Midland then pulls the requested funds from your personal bank account you assigned and deposits that amount into your self-directed account.

Offering 24-hour online access through this portal is just one more way Midland strives to be a cut above other self-directed retirement plan custodians. Our clients, who hold over $1 billion in self-directed accounts, trust us to provide them the best service and tools to manage their accounts and we constantly strive to deliver! Making annual contributions to your retirement plan, especially if you max out the limits allowed each year, is one way to help your account grow the income you will need when you retire.
However, you cannot exceed the yearly limits as set forth by the IRS. Depending on the type of account you have, annual contribution limits may vary.
Visit our website to view our IRA contribution limit page to see how much you can contribute to your account this year. If you have any questions, please just let us know by calling 239-333-1032 or by emailing us at [email protected]
